I really REALLY love this story and feel like I’ve been hugged every time I read it! You can probably tell by the brim on my face! We hope you enjoy the story as much as we do! Thank you , Roald Dahl, for spreading smiles like confetti through the world with such wonderful stories. 😁

Roald Dahl poem from 'Revolting Rhymes' -' Jack and the Beanstalk'

Why have I chosen this text from Roald Dahl? Well, because I love poems! Roald Dahl was a master of simple and effective rhymes which make you laugh out loud! I love reading poetry out loud, especially the different voices, and Jack's mother - who sounds a bit like my old gran, bless her - is the best! I've included the words - so get reading along to the poem and see if you can sound like my old nan too!
